Summer To-Read List (partial):

The Name of the Rose, by Umberto Eco

The Fountainhead, by Ayn Rand

Follow the Teacher, by Robert T. Hess

Eats, Shoots and Leaves, by Lynn Truss

Just finished:

Anthem, by Ayn Rand

To re-read:

Why Don't Students Like School?: A Cognitive Scientist Answers Questions About How the Mind Works and What It Means for the Classroom, by Daniel T. Willingham

I'm also listening to Atlas Shrugged, by Ayn Rand, on audio CD. It's amazing. It's been called the most influential book in history, other than the Bible. A review said that even if you disagree with its philosophy, you have to read it. As a writer, I'm in awe of Rand's writing technique. There is something for everyone there. Its time is now.
